Allans assistants Helen Russ will be working with Samamba at most of this years shows and festivals making belts on the stall!

Samamba will also be selling wapa wapa jewellery which is handmade by Sarah Clarke.  Sarah's jewellery is sold to support her charity The Mashi Foundation www.mashifoundation.org

The Mashi Foundation is a UK based charity that works with children living in poverty in Ecuador.  To help, you can donate or become a sponsor.  Just visit the website for more details.

The motto being "Together we can make a difference".

These festivals not only have lots of fantastic music but also plenty of cool childrens entertainment. The following artists will be at many of the above events.
Storyteller John Row

and The Foolhardy Folk Circus www.business.netcom.co.uk/nccff/foolhard1.htm

Samamba is in a Cambridge Shop, Misfits 258 Mill Rd, Cambridge, CB1 3NF
a community shop which provides space for local artists and supports people with learning difficulties. There is free side street parking along this end of Mill Rd close to the shop. Come and see us (opening hours 9-5.30pm Monday-Saturday) and explore Mill Rd before going into town. Its full of great independant businesses!

I am looking for people to help at many of the festival listed above. The deal would be a free ticket, 4 hours work a day plus set up and pack down help, PLUS LOTS OF FUN! Email me if you are interested!

I am also looking for ideally a local Cambridge based Fashion Student to model and for design work. For the right applicant this would be a fantastic chance for work experience in design and marketing plus a lot more and could lead to a perminant position. Please email Denise on samamba_d@hotmail.com for further details.

Looking forward to seeing you
